Weekly Devotion
Dear Follower of Jesus
Christ
Greetings Once Again!
I
greet you in the mighty and gracious name of our Saviour, the Messiah Lord
Jesus Christ, and I thank you for taking time to read this week’s short: Weekly
Devotion for 29 February-04 March 2016, by the Wisdom of God Church Online.
Scripture!
Our
guiding text is written in Romans, chapter 8:28-31 NIV:
28
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to his purpose.
29
For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of
his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30
And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified;
those he justified, he also glorified.
31
What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be
against us?
Devotion Lesson
Dear
friends this week we are blessed with yet another powerful message from the word
of God. We are enlighten of our conformation to the likeness of the Son of God
as well as our calling, our justification and our glorification as Christians.
This
morning of this leap day 29 February, of this leap year 2016, shall we ask ourselves, what we are
capable of as believers in Christ?
Many
times we go out as Christians in search for answers. We often are overwhelmed
by hardships, sickness and all sorts of trouble and we get so discouraged by life and are
silenced by our very tribulations, just so we don’t speak hope anymore, as
we go out in groan of our suffering in the world.
However, fellow
Christians see it like this, that this could be the wake of what is said in end time prophesy -the
hardships Christianity will face before the return of the Messiah.
You see, it could
have been good for me to tell you all that everything will be alright, but I am
afraid everything may not be alright and things could rather get worse until we
are received back by our Maker to rejoice forevermore. Amen!
What
I can rather tell you is that, we are more than conquerors and we must remain
in faith all the time. God wants to awaken the Spirit of Hope that is within you and
in us, he wants to encourage his never ending love that you possess, for you
are made in the likeness of the Christ, full of life, full of faith, full of
rejoice, full of perseverance, full of his wisdom and full of his kindness and
peace.
Step-up and face the world, look boldly to your adversaries and shout aloud;
“I
am a child of God, I am in the likeness of the Lord my God,
I
have been called and I have been justified,
I
am full of his glory therefore I am more than a conqueror”
I
bet you to tell your situations;
“I
was there before you have been, I have been there with my Father,
I
was part of his plan and now I am finally his fulfillment,
He
is with me and I am in him, because through Christ I was freed from the fear of
darkness, and conformed in his form of being,
(Tell
them) My God is with me so who can be against me?”
Folks
the reason why I urge you through the spirit to make such a powerful testimony
this weeks is because I want you to understand that the courage and strength that is
within you, is through the words that you speak – for all things were formed by
the word, because the Word is the
ultimate conqueror.
Our
strength is with what we say, what we testify of us in God is what carries us
through our trials. Don’t speak weakness in your time of oppression, but always
be joyful and hopeful, speaking success and victory in all circumstances, no mater if they are good
and the contrary - be joyful in God always!
Nothing
is greater than God - for God has made everything that exist, so trust in him and
motivate yourselves this week, if God is for us, who can be against us? and repeat, If
God is for us, who can be against us? and repeat, If God is for us, who can be against
us? And keep repeating it because there is hope in saying that. Praise the Lord.
Remember,
God works for the good of those who love him! Have a courageous week and may
God shine his face upon you!
Amen!
Let us pray:
Awesome
God, Lord of everything that exist,
Thank
you for a wonderful teaching this week, please make us see your presence during
this week, let us have courage in our testimonies as we go through life no
matter if we suffer or rejoice, let us know that all is made by you.
Guide
us this week, through the power of Your Spirit and let us continue to see your
greatness as we go through this week.
In
the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen!
Have
a fantastic Monday and the best week ahead. May God Bless You!
