Dear Saints,
Greetings!
Scripture!
Our
guiding text is written in the letter to James, chapter 2:1-5 NIV:
1
My brothers, as believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ, don’t show
favouritism.
2
Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine cloths, and
a poor man in shabby cloths also comes in.
3
If you show special attention to the man wearing fine cloths and say, “Here’s a
good seat for you,” but say to the poor man, “You stand there,” or, “Sit on the
floor by my feet,”
4
have you not discriminated among yourselves and become judges with evil
thoughts?
5
Listen, my dear brothers: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of
the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who
love him?
Devotion Lesson
Dear
friend this morning God speak to us through His wisdom, that as we go out today
we must not favour between people. At work, at the college, in the church and in
family gatherings we often favour some people over the other.
We
wait for those we favour before we start the party and if those we don’t favour
are late, we don’t care anyway and go ahead without them, sometimes so that we
discourage poor to feel unwelcomed at our meetings.
But
the bible is clear, that we must have an equal respect, love and care for our
guest, our neighbours, our friends and colleagues.
As
you go out there today, learn from this amazing teaching from this devotion,
share your love and care equally among the people you encounter today.
Be
friendly and mindful to all and treat the least as if they are worth gold (as
well). Remember that by doing so, you may entertain an angel of the Lord and
will be rewarded greatly in heaven.
Let us pray:
Awesome
God, Lord of everything that exist,
Thank
you for a wonderful teaching this morning, please show us how to be
compassionate to everyone without showing favouritism.
Guide
us today, through the power of Your Spirit and let us continue to see your
greatness as we go through this week.
In
the name of Jesus Christ,
Amen!
Have
a fantastic Monday and the best week ahead. May God Bless You!

Like the story of Lazarus (poor) and the rich man who was begging Lazarus for a little bit of water, while burning in hell! Let us make smart choices and be equal to everyone!
